Important! If you installed the Channable app in Shopify after the 1st of October 2018 the support for order connections is already included and you will not need to follow this article. If you installed the app before the 1st of October 2018 you will need to follow the steps in this article.
Note I: To use order connections with Shopify you will need to at least a Shopify Large plan. The Shopify Large plan contains 3 order connections.

Follow the steps below to update your Shopify app so that order connections are supported.
Step 1 - Delete your current Shopify connection in Channable
Before you can update the Shopify app, you will need to delete the old Shopify connection in your Channable project. Within your Channable project navigate to "Setup > Shopify import > Settings". In this screen you will see a cog in the top right corner. Select the cog and under options click on "Delete import".
When you have deleted the import click on your name in the top right of the screen and in the drop down menu select "Connections". This will open a new window in which you can find your Shopify connection. Next to the connection click on "Edit" and a screen like the one below will open. Select the cog in the right corner and select the option "Delete connection" to delete the Shopify connection.
Step 2 - Delete your current Channable app in Shopify
Login to your Shopify backend and navigate to "Apps". Here, delete the Channable app by clicking the garbage can icon.
Step 3 - Reinstall the Channable app
You will now see a message that you have successfully uninstalled the Channable app. On the same page you can navigate to the Shopify App Store:
In the Shopify App Store, search for the Channable app with the search term "channable". You will see the Channable app and when you click on the app you can add it again.

When you have clicked "Add app" the permissions overview will be shown. Here, you should now see the "Manage orders" permission which is needed for the handling of your orders. Click "Install app" to finish reinstalling the app.
