General information on Carrefour
Via Channable you can create a connection with Carrefour ES. Follow the steps in this article to setup the connection and API for Carrefour ES.
Note: You need valid EAN codes to send your products to a Carrefour marketplace
How do I start sending to a Carrefour marketplace?
If you have an account of a Carrefour marketplace, you can head over to your Channable account and go to "APIs > Add new API". Now click on "Create new connection". Next, you select the Carrefour marketplace logo, choose a name for your new connection (e.g. "Your shop-Carrefour") and click "create" afterwards (see below).
API key & Shop ID
To create the connection you need to enter an API key and a shop ID. The API key created in your Carrefour seller account by going to you "user settings" by clicking on your email address in the top right corner. After that you go to "API key" and click "generate API key" if there is no key available yet. Of there is an API key available, you can use that one, you don't have to create a new one.
You can also find the Shop ID in your seller central. First select the shop you want to send products to in the top right corner. Next, go to "My Account > Settings" to find your Shop ID:
If you have both the API key and the Shop ID you can finish creating your connection in Channable. If you did so, choose your fresh Carrefour marketplace connection in the next screen and choose a name for your marketplace (e.g. "Carrefour ") and click continue.
Start building the product listings!
Once you have created the marketplace, you'll be sent to the categories page. The categories step enables you to convert your own categorization to that of Carrefour (by using the Generate categories feature), or create new categories from scratch, as seen in the screenshot below.
After you are finished categorizing your products, it's time to create some rules in order to optimize your product data (e.g. excluding certain products). Some common rules to use can be found here. After creating the rules you want to implement, go to build to start building your ads.
On the item tab you connect the fields containing your EAN code/gtin, title, description, stock and price, similar to how it's done in the screenshot below.
Almost done! Next up is filling in the fields in the attribute builder. Click the ''attribute builder'' tab in Build and select the category you want to optimize first. An example of what should be in front of you now can be seen in the screenshot below. A more detailed explanation of the attribute builder's use can be found here.
Check & Send
Next, go to the preview step to check the products that are about to be sent to your Carrefour account. If that looks right, go to the "Settings" step and activate the marketplace API by clicking on the "Activate" button.
Finally, go to APIs and click "Run now" on your newly set Carrefour marketplace to start sending the products!
