If you don't use any of the eCommerce platforms for which Channable supports the order connection, you can connect to the Channable API and still make use of the advantages of our order connection. It requires some programming on your end, but it offers the flexibility to connect with any other eCommerce platform. The functionalities for which the order connection can be used are lined out on our website. Note that we don't support the full list of features for every marketplace, please check this helpcenter page to find out which of the functionalities are supported for each marketplace.
Using the Channable API is free of charge on its own, however we do invoice the regular 49 euros a month per order connection that's set up in your Channable account.
The Channable API is only used for processing orders as of now. To advertise your products on marketplaces you still need to set up an import in your Channable account, to enable yourself to send the products to the marketplace of your choice.
So how do you get started with the Channable API? Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can enable the Channable API endpoints for your account and set up a test order that you can test the endpoints on. You can keep contacting email@example.com with any questions during the implementation. When you've implemented the Channable API on your side you can let us know. We'll remove the test order and activate the live order connection for the marketplaces of your choice.
