Step 1 - Deactivate your order connections (if you have any)
If you use any order connections you will need to deactivate them. Within a project navigate to Setup > Setup Orders. You will recognize the active order connections by the blue dot before the name of the order connection. An inactive order connection will have an orange dot before its name. Select the "Settings" button of the activate order connections.
In the settings of the order connection select the the "Deactivate" button to deactivate the order connection.
After you have deactivated the order connection navigate back to Setup > Setup Orders. Repeat the deactivation process until all order connections are set to inactive (all order connections should have an orange dot before their names). Please contact us after deactivating your order connections so that we can edit your pricing accordingly.
Step 2 - Clear and deactivate any feeds
Any feeds you are using will need to be deactivated as well. Navigate to Feeds where active feeds will have a blue dot before their name and inactive feeds will have an orange dot before their name.
The first step in deactivating a feed is to empty it. Navigate to ''Feed name" > Rules, create a rule to remove all items from the feed and run the feed. This will delete the items from the feed. Then navigate to ''Feed name'' > Settings. In the Settings tab select the "Deactivate feed" button in order to deactivate the feed.
Note: If you are deactivating a Beslist feed, contact your Beslist contact person to inform them that the feed will no longer be used.
After you have deactivated the feed navigate back to Feeds. Repeat the deactivation process until all feeds are set to inactive (all feeds should have an orange dot before their names).
Step 3 - Clear and deactivate any APIs
Any APIs you are using will also need to be deactivated. Navigate to APIs where active APIs will have a blue dot before their name and inactive APIs will have an orange dot before their name.
The first step in deactivating an API is to empty it. Navigate to"API name" > Rules and create a rule to exclude all items from the feed. Then navigate to "API name" > Settings. In the Settings tab select the gear and in the drop down menu select "Clear API". This will remove your ads from the export channel. After clearing the API select the "Deactivate API" button at the bottom, in order to deactivate the API.
After you have deactivated the API navigate back to APIs. Repeat the deactivation process until all APIs are set to inactive (they should have an orange dot before their names).
Step 4 - Deactivate projects
After you have deactivated any order connections, feeds and APIs the next step is to deactivate your projects. Within an active project navigate to Settings > General and select "Deactivate project". Repeat the process until all your projects have been deactivated.
Step 5 - Change your Channable plan
Follow our support article to change your pricing back to the trial plan. After changing the Channable plan, your account will be essentially cancelled. If in the future you would like to return to using Channable, you can pick up where you left by activating the APIs, feeds and order connections. This is why we encourage users to deactivate instead of deleting. If you want to fully delete your account, please contact us by emailing your account name to email@example.com. Note: We can only delete accounts per the request from the owner of the account, not per an employee's or collaborator's request.
