Why sell your products on Fnac? Because Fnac is the leader in retail of cultural goods, leisure and technology in France. La Fnac is also well established in many other countries such as Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, Qatar and Ivory Coast. This article will help you place your products on the French marketplace.
1) Create a pro vendor account on Fnac
Before adding the marketplace connection on Channable, you need to set up a professional vendor account via the following link.
Now you have to send a request to Fnac in order to get the credentials API details. Once you have the credentials from the marketplace, you can go back to Channable.
2) Add a new connection in Channable
Go to Channable, open your project and go to APIs. Add a new API by clicking on "Add new API".
Now hit the "+ Add new connection" button.
3) Add label to right connection
The next view asks for a "Label" name. Type in the field box the name of the connection, for instance: "Fnacfr". Then click on the "Fnac" button.
4) Finalize new connection in Channable
The last step to finalize the connection in Channable is filling in the information obtained in part 1 (you can obtain this information by contacting Fnac). Hit create to make the new connection.
5) Set up the API in Channable
Once you have created the API, you'll be sent to the categories page. For Fnac you can skip the categorization step and go straight to the rules section to set up your rules (e.g. excluding certain products that are not part of the retail focus of Fnac).
Afterwards, go on the Build section and connect in the item tab the fields containing your EAN codes, your stock, your title and your description, similar to how it is done in the screenshot below.
Next, go to the preview step to check the products that are about to be sent to Fnac. If it looks right, go to the "Settings" step and set the status of the API to active.
Finally, go to APIs and click "Run now" on your newly set Fnac connection to start sending the product listings!
