General information on Real
Real (sometimes also called Hitmeister) is a German marketplace that lets you sell products based on a cost-per-sale (CPS) model. Take the following conditions into account when sending ads to Real:
- You need valid EAN codes to send your products to Real
- You can only send products to Real if the EAN code of your product is already known to Real. If the EAN code is not known to Real you can manually add them to the Real website. After this has been done product updates, such as a price change, will automatically be sent through Channable.
- We can't delete advertisements from Real, we can only disable ads by setting the stock to 0 or clearing the api. So don't just exclude a product when you no longer want to sell it on Real but set the stock to 0 instead.
How do I start sending to Real?
If you have an account at Real, you can head over to your Channable account and go to "Marketplaces > Add new marketplace". Next, you can click "Create new connection" (see below).
After selecting the Real connection you will be asked to supply your "Client key" and "Secret key". These can be obtained from the Real api settings
Start building the ads!
Once you have created the marketplace, you'll be sent to the categories page. For Real you can skip the categorization step and go straight to the rules to set your rules (e.g. excluding certain products). After the rules, go to "Build" to start building your ads.
Check & Send
After you are done building your ads , go to the preview step to check the products that are about to be sent to Real. If that looks right, go to the "Settings" step, set the status of the marketplace to active in the settings tab. Finally, go to Marketplaces and click "Run now" on your newly set Real marketplace to start sending the products!
Note I: Real does not supply possible error messages on rejected products. Therefore Channable can't display errors in the Preview step, only the number of successful products.
Note II: It takes time before Real has processed the product data we sent, so the products you see in the "Preview > Successful" section are outdated by approximately a day.
