If you have a WooCommerce based webshop, you can import your products in Channable using the WooCommerce API. We can import all your WooCommerce product data from the standard product fields (this means we cannot import custom data fields). Which steps you should follow depends on which version of WooCommerce you're using. If you're unsure which version you're using, you can find the version under WooCommerce > System Status in your WordPress installation. For version 2.4 and up follow step 1a, for earlier versions please follow step 1b.
1a) WooCommerce - Version 2.4+
To get started, go to 'WooCommerce' and click 'Settings'.
Go to the tab 'API' and click 'Activate REST API'.
Now go to Keys/Apps and click 'Add key' and fill out the fields, pick 'Read/Write' for 'Rights'.
Now write down the 'Consumer Key' and 'Consumer Secret', you will need these in Channable.
1b) WooCommerce - Version < 2.4
To get started, visit 'Your profile' in the admin menu screen.
Scroll down to find the 'WooCommerce API Keys' section. Tick the 'Generate API Key' checkbox, and click the 'Update Profile' button.
Now that keys have been generated, you should see two keys and a new checkbox in place of the 'Generate API Key' checkbox. These are your Consumer Key, Consumer Secret and a Revoke API Key checkbox. There is also a box to control the level of access for this API key, set this to Read/Write access.
Now open Channable, open a project and go to 'Setup', create a new import and choose 'New import connection'.
Now choose 'WooCommerce' and fill out the name field as well as the url of your webshop and the key and secret you have previously generated (and written down). Finally, select which WooCommerce version you're using. Now click 'Create', select the new connection and click continue.
Important! Remove the "/" at the end of your WooCommerce URL!
