If you are a SEOshop/Lightspeed user it is important that the structure in which the size of your products is stored in your backoffice is consistent. This is important because the field that contains the size of your product can also contain other information, such as the material of your product or values like "default" or "standaard".
We therefore need to be able to filter out which products actually contain a size using rules in Channable. Also, if there is other product information stored in this field, we will be able to isolate the information we are looking for.
You can find the field that we are talking about by clicking on a product in your SEOshop/Lightspeed product overview. Under the tab "Prices & Stock" or "Prijzen & Voorraad" you can edit the variant title of every variant of a product.
It is important that the naming of the variants is done consistently. By following the format specified below you can make sure that we can create good feeds for your export channel in Channable.
- Make sure different colours of a product have their own product in your SEOshop/Lightspeed backoffice. Please use the variants only for different sizes of that product.
- If your variants contain sizes, please use a format such as the one in the screenshot above (e.g. "size: 43" or "maat: 43").
- If you name additional information in the variant title field (such as in the example above), make sure that you separate this information from the size information using for example a minus sign or a pipe ("-" or "|").
- Be consistent in your notation. If you use "size: 43", please stick with it. It's harder to create a good feed if you name it "size: 43" one time and "maat = 43" the other time.
